Vanathy Adipola

Managing Director, Teacher

Hello! My name is Vanathy Adipola. I am very excited to introduce myself to you. I am a trained AMI (Associate Montessori International) Teacher from a very reputed institute of Montessori Training and have 17 years of experience working with children as their educator. In addition to the Montessori qualification, I am a qualified (Early Childhood Educator) ECEII, ECEIII. I fell in love with early childhood learning after seeing my own two children come home from their Montessori schools and share their experience of learning and to see the positive impact it had on them.

I have always prided myself on being very passionate about my work with children and consider myself a hard-working, energetic and resourceful individual. Many of the opportunities that have come my way have made me gain more hands-on knowledge not only with children but with staff and administration. Having gained both professional and practical experience in management and teaching, I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge pertaining to children’s overall development, program development, teacher training, curriculum planning, and parent education and maintain a positive relationship with children, families and the staff.

As a Montessorian, I am dedicated to unfolding children’s protentional by providing a great environment that supports their emotional, physical, social and intellectual development. I receive immense satisfaction and pleasure when I see their development from the time, they walk inside the school to the different timeline of their school year and take pride in them and rejoice with them on their small victories. I strongly believe each child is unique in their way and possesses something very special in them. Also, I promise the children in my care, the families and my colleagues, that I will demonstrate the same commitment and passion throughout my career.

“Let us leave the life free to develop within the limits of the good, and let us observe this inner life developing. This is the whole of our mission.”

-Dr. Maria Montessori

Our Staff

The Backbone of Our Organization

Staff at “Mighty Minds Montessori” (MMM) are highly qualified, experienced, and they are dedicated and enthusiastic to guide the children with their age-appropriate activities. Considering the fact that a clean, safe and stimulating environment develops social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills, together as a team MMM staff provide a nurturing and stimulating environment uniquely prepared for children.

Every Mighty Minds Montessori teacher/assistant have the following qualities because when we select our team of teachers and assistants for MMM we strictly look for the following core qualities in them.

  • Enthusiasm and passion for children – this means wanting to make a difference in every child in their care unlocking the child’s door to learning.
  • Patience and Humor – because the nature of their age makes young children rambunctious, with short attention spans and little self-control. A patient nature, combined with a sense of humor, helps teachers take the ups and downs of every day in stride while focusing on the end goals.
  • Respect of Differences – every child is different in his/her own way with a unique personality and learning style. The same way children come from different ethnicities, cultures, and traditions, and it is a teacher’s responsibility to welcome and embrace, and create an open and exciting learning atmosphere for everyone in the program.
  • Creativity and flexibility – planning lessons that will engage young children and educate them at the same time takes creativity. Adapting lessons to individual learning styles requires flexibility. A successful early childhood development teacher will use creativity and flexibility to make every day a positive one for the class.
  • Knowledgeable and Up-to-date – educators need thorough knowledge and an in-depth understanding of child development and their phycology. It is also essential to keep themselves up to date with all the latest development in their field. An educator who craves knowledge will be the one who keeps their professional side growing.

At MMM staff committed to treating all children unconditionally with the same important level of respect, love, care, supervise children diligently inside and outside the classroom and conducted regular communication with parents to create a progressive path for the children in their care.

“We must help the child to act for himself, will for himself, think for himself; this is the art of those who aspire to serve the spirit.”

– Dr. Maria Montessori
